At TrollBelief, we value every report and account of potential troll activity. Whether you’ve witnessed strange movements in the forest, unusual sounds in the mountains, or footprints that defy explanation, your observations help us build a clearer picture of troll behavior and habitats across Norway.
You can submit your observation via email to:
📧 krismartin@trollbelief.com
Please include as much information as possible, such as:
Date, time, and location of the observation
Description of the troll(s) or phenomena
Environmental conditions (weather, terrain, visibility)
Photos, videos, or audio recordings if available
Any footprints, tracks, or other physical evidence
All submitted observations are assessed carefully using the following criteria:
Tracks & Physical Evidence: Footprints, displaced rocks, broken vegetation, or other physical traces.
Audio Recordings: Low-frequency sounds, drumming, growls, or other unusual noises.
Video Material: Any visual evidence that may show movement, silhouettes, or behaviors.
Geographical Likelihood: The probability of troll presence based on terrain, remoteness, and historical sightings.
Previous Activity in the Area: Past reports or folklore associated with the location.
Witness Credibility & Experience: The observer’s familiarity with the outdoors, local wildlife, and other relevant knowledge.
Our goal is to create the most accurate possible picture of troll movement patterns and habitats throughout Norway.
Stay safe: trolls are said to inhabit rugged, often remote areas.
Do not approach or disturb the creature.
Document quietly and clearly.
Even indirect evidence, like unusual sounds or tracks, is valuable.
Your contribution helps expand the TrollBelief Archive and preserve knowledge about these elusive creatures for future generations.
